With more than 30 years’ experience in the roofing industry, we know how important it is to ensure that every truss that leaves our factory is of the highest quality possible.
Our design and manufacturing processes comply with regulations set out by South African National Standard (SANS), National Building Regulation (NHBRC) and the Institute for Timber Construction (ITC-SA). This means that the highest standards are applied in our manufacturing process.
In addition, it remains our responsibility to ensure that every client receives the highest quality product for their roof, which is why every truss that leaves our factory is meticulously inspected for any defects that may have occurred during the manufacturing process. If any defects are found, they are dealt with immediately.
After the quality inspection, the trusses are moved outside the factory, where they are carefully stacked on top of each other in a way that helps to keep them straight.
Our trucks and roof truss trailers are all specially designed to hold the roof trusses firmly and in a safe position to ensure no damage is done to the trusses during the transportation of the trusses to the building site.
When the trusses are loaded, along with all other roofing materials, the timber is then tied with belts to ensure safe transport. A checklist is used when loading, to make sure that all required materials are loaded.
When they arrive at the building site, the truck stops as close to the construction site as possible.
When the trusses are offloaded, they are again stacked on top of each other again to keep the timber straight.
Every part of this process is done with the utmost care to maintain the highest quality standards of the trusses.
